Keel cored or solid?
My question is about the keel just below where the cutlass bearing housing mounts. On the curve below the housing a couple inches down, there was a small puncture about the diameter of a pencil that I patched with a resin before putting in this spring. I had the boat (albin 36) pulled last week for other reasons and noticed the patch was leaking water from it. I want to grind out and repair this weekend. Does anyone know how the bottom of the keel is constructed? Thanks
