We're just getting to know our recently purchased 2004 28TE, and I'm flummoxed by the aftmost ventilation port beside the quarter berth. The shelf below the two ports seems to incline as it runs aft, and I don't see how I can pivot the aftmost port securing screw down to the clamping position as it's arc interferes with the run of the shelf. Is this a common problem? I am also having difficulty inserting the screens in these ports (without breaking the plastic edge). Anyone have a special technique?
Thanks,
Steve Foster

Re: Quarter berth port
This must be on an Flush Deck, right? I know the qtr berth is different than on an engine box model.

Hi Rob,
Yes, it's a flush deck.
