Nah, I am a salt water kind of guy, no desert living for me..
Grew up in the old country with dry air, we had humidifiers in the house, always blowing out steam so your lips and skin would not dry in the winter.
Personally I love it hot and humid, but too much work always cleaning headliners and bulkheads in the boat from mold and mildew.
A/C of course helps, but if I could dry the air with a simple plug-in machine, that would be better.
