2002 Albin 32+2 Trans issue
Hello im buying a 2002 32+2 with a Cummins 5.9 and a leaking trans. Does anyone know if you have to pull the engine to pull the trans?

Re: 2002 Albin 32+2 Trans issue
Yes you do. Need to unbolt from engine and remove engine first. Engine must be tilted to remove without also removing the sink/livewell assembly. Tight but worked with my Yanmar 6LY. I did mine when my Trans output shaft leaked. Good time to clean up bilge, do motor mounts, etc.
Note this applies to the 32+2 with 3-piece floor hatches and steeper stairs; the 35 CB with longer stairs has a different hatch size I believe.
