Still looking for my Albin 28te. What speed should I expect cruise and WOT with a yanmar ?

Between 16-19 knots depending on boat.

Apologies - i missed the WOT bit.

I have achieved 24 knots with mine when she is fresh back in the water - one boat on here had a 1.5:1 transmission and yanmar engine and could achieve 29 knots

With the Cummins, you can expect to see just north of 26 knots WOT and 21-22 knots cruise i believe.

This was after two weeks out of the water for refit and my standard 19x19 propellor that has just been polished and re cupped. 1/4 tank of fuel with just me aboard.

I like knots better, something about Nautical Miles per Hour.

19 mph = 16.5 knots..Precisely what my 2001 Yanmar will do..
24 mph = 21 knots, same as mine, pretty much right on…

At light weights I may see 17.5 knots @ Max Cruise 3,600 RPM.
2001 28TE, 6LP-STE, 1,337 hrs, 19X18 four-blade wheel.
