Re: 28te speed
Apologies - i missed the WOT bit.
I have achieved 24 knots with mine when she is fresh back in the water - one boat on here had a 1.5:1 transmission and yanmar engine and could achieve 29 knots
With the Cummins, you can expect to see just north of 26 knots WOT and 21-22 knots cruise i believe.

Re: 28te speed
This was after two weeks out of the water for refit and my standard 19x19 propellor that has just been polished and re cupped. 1/4 tank of fuel with just me aboard.

Re: 28te speed
I like knots better, something about Nautical Miles per Hour.Jkraft wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 10:15 amThey sound so much faster when you use MPHcarolmarie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:47 pm 2001 in fresh water, 300HP Yanmar, fully loaded with fuel and water and four on board: 19 MPH cruise and 24 MPH max. 19 mph = 16.5 knots..Precisely what my 2001 Yanmar will do..
24 mph = 21 knots, same as mine, pretty much right on…
At light weights I may see 17.5 knots @ Max Cruise 3,600 RPM.
