The original Scupper Flapper for the 28 TE came in two parts:
1. A round piece of rubber with slots.
2. The flapper itself.
The round slotted piece holds the flapper. You insert the assembly in through the scupper opening in the stern from outside the boat. It snaps in place.
The flappers are readily available, but that round slotted piece of rubber is a mystery item.

Any idea how to get a replacement for the slotted round rubber piece?

This is a check valve kind of flapper for when you go backwards on a fish, to prevent flooding in the cockpit?
