I'd be willing to bet that the height on the Farberware microwave includes the feet. Go ahead and order it...send it back if it doesn't fit.

Trying to avoid sending stuff back, want to be sure before I order.
The retro one is the top contender for now, but they also come in other colors, and they are all 10” tall.

I am hot and cold on the aqua blue color, if not for the dark green cushions in the cabin it could work.

Ha, thx for the answer on the legs. Still too big, my opening is 10 1/8” tall, the oven is 10.17” so it won’t go in, unless I use gorilla force, or break out an axe to increase the height, neither is on my list of things to do.
The retro oven is 10” even, probably a better bet, and they come in white..

Yes, hopefully more than one option, next step is a trip to Walmart, they should have a ton of small microwave ovens on display.
Already did Home Depot, all their small ovens was unpacked, unable to measure.
Did Best Buy: They had two 0.7 microwave ovens on display, but none for sale, had to order if I wanted one. Used my tape measure and one would fit being 10’ but looking at the specs online it shows it bigger, not sure what the difference is.
Walmart next...

And the saga continues: Found an oven today at Walmart, right at 10” tall, but slightly too big with the feet sticking down 1/8” of an inch.
Had to force it in, but it won’t stand straight.
Have to remove it and see what is going on.

New GE .7 cu.ft. Stainless microwave from Best Buy. Model JES1072SHSS. Modifications included enlarging opening, replacing thick wood floor with aluminum plate, and cherry trim to hold in place.

Gave up on the microwave oven prospect, the smallest oven was slightly to big, even after ripping of aft button legs and hammering front legs. Still not a good fit and it will be forever crooked and I can’t sleep at night..
Removed the oven, will donate it to the Salvation Army as it has scratches but works great, never been used.
Now looking at converting the hole to permanent storage, will follow the lead to “Boat Outfitters” from a member of the FB group “Albin 28TE Boats” he converted as well and had these doors made:

My hole has less clearance to the upper shelf-coaming, will have to be careful with the lip, considering having the doors made in matching color plastic, like Starboard.

Now in the process of getting a price quote for starbord doors from Boat Outfitters, got their color samples and found the upper left one to be a good color match for the 2001 plain vanilla color in my galley.
(They call it SF for Sea Foam)

Did my measurements in centi meters, then converted to decimal inches, then fraction inches

Begged them to ask the engineering department to work with me in milli meters instead, more accurate, less room for error from converting stuff.

Got very little room above for lip before it hits the teak trim.

Soon as I finished the measuring and figured out the correct color, they close for the holidays and won’t open until January 4th.
Long drawn out project, stay tuned.

Open to suggestion? Check your multiple conversions against a tape measure. In inches (unless you were lucky enough to get them to agree to metric). Also, begin measuring using the 1" mark, not the wobbly silver thingy stuck on the end of the tape. Don't forget to subtract that inch.

As fussy as you are, I'm sure you already check dimensions at top & bottom, L&R of opening.

All the conversions will be checked again before we start cutting material. The above measurements was for mostly for a price estimate.
If you see any errors, please let me know: I am not an engineer, not smart enough.
