Hi I was just wondering about a few things. I have a 4d-61 in my boat. Has anyone tried to silence the air intake with a muffler? A lot of noise comes out of it. I'm not talking about a little foam pad something more substantial.
Also the oil cooler which the raw water flows through. The mount always breaks. I used 1/8th steel last time. I find it's just easier to let it dangle and the hoses absorb the vibration. I know I need engine mounts probably. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Chris
