shaft coupling for Albin 28 year 2000

When my engine was taken out of the boat the shaft coupling was damaged. Does anyone know what type of coupler that Albin used and where to buy a new one?.

I do t know the manufacturer in specific but it will be an off the shelf item. I replaced ours when the engine was pulled for work and 2 part paint with an off the shelf item I was able to pick up despite being over 3000 miles away and in a different continent to where the boat was made!

It's a 5"A split shaft coupler. Buck Algonquin. Best to pull the shaft out and take the shaft and the new coupler to a main shop (prop shop) for a fit & face. And get a new 3/8" key.

No problem. With a small puller like this it should come off easily. And if it's fitted by a machine shop the new one will tap on easily with no more needed than a rubber mallet. Remember, no butter bolts on the coupler!
