Source of Hard enclosure to rear of wheelhouse

Post by Low Country »

Folks,
New Member and assuming Survey goes well new Albin 31 owner.

The boat has the soft enclosure. I would like to replace soft enclosure with the optional hard doors.
I am looking for a distributor/source.

As soon as I am an "official owner i will introduce myself in detail.

Thanks,
David M

I own an Albin 30FC and I did some research into this issue a couple of years ago. As far as I was able to determine there was more than one company that manufactured and/or installed hard pilot house enclosures for Albin or as an after-market item. Someone told me the cost could be up to $10K. I did not try to arrange anything, in part because I live in Canada and would have to move the boat to the location of a US installer.
One company that does this kind of work and according to their website has done Albin installations is ALUMINUM 2000. You can Google it.

Hoping all works out for you.

John is correct. Aluminium 2000 a division of Pompanette out of NH. They built the Alaskan bulkhead enclosure on my 28 and the double doors on my present 31 TE.
