I have an A25 with a mechanical oil pressure system (sender fitting in engine block with tiny tube up to mechanical gauge in dashboard). Had to break the glass on the front of the gauge to remove parts of disintegrated internal bezel which were interfering with the needle swing. I am thinking that the little white tubing from engine to gauge is getting old and vulnerable. Thinking that some MD17C engines have an electrical oil pressure sender and gauge. Has anyone changed over from mechanical to electrical and made this upgrade? Where did you get the sender fitting? Was it worth doing?
Thanks a lot !!!
