Battery Access
What is best way to access batteries? just purchased an Albin 32 sportfish, batteries seem somewhat buried in the salon area, have to remove the table, and lots of skrews on the floor panel. some access from under the seat.

I have a 35 CB and the batteries are 1/2 buried under the aft settee and 1/2 under the saloon floor; accessable thru a hatch under the dinnette. I installed 2 hinges on the hatch to make the area more accessable. Now instead of removing the dinnette with its 47 screws, I can lean the table to port which opens the hatch below. I have carpet in the saloon which covers the hinges. It seems like this would work for a teak & holly floor but you might want to recess the hinges to avoid stubbing a bare foot.
