Does anyone have any data comparing I the fuel burn of a 35 TE with twins versus single?

based on 5 years of ownership, trips up and down the intercoastal, I figure 9 gph at
cruise of 14-16kts (depending on load, as I set power with a manifold pressure guage)

That includes on and off plane as I pass slower boats, not steady state.

Our fuel burn in Sonny IV (Twin Volvo 370s) is pretty consistent at about .9/Nmg across most of the planing speed range up to 24kn. She probably gets as high as 4/Nmg at low speeds (Under 8 kn) and we don't talk about WOT!

5 yrs with single yanmar 440hp we average 10 gph per fill up. cruise 16 knots fully loaded.
