Seized seacock

The seacock for the macerator discharge through the hull is frozen open.Any ideas of how I can free it up while the boat is still in the water?Thanks Bob

Tap on it with a small hammer while using a short piece of pipe on the handle to increase your leverage. If it will move at all try working it back and forth. Normally I'd also apply some heat (with a hairdryer, don't want to melt the seals) but with it full of water I don't think it would be very effective.

Thanks I will give it a try Saturday.We also reinstalled our Vanguard tachometers yesterday.We had the hour meters repaired.Now we will be able to keep our service records up to date.
