2002 28TE Yanmar315 My RPM Gage is working on and off? Help
Had RPM gage up to 3200 and then it dropped to zero, Hour meter in gage still works fine. Sometimes the RPM gage works at start up and then nothing......looked at back of gage and all wires look okay? Anyone know what it could be? It works on and off, then on again. Thanks for any feedback...

That's an easy one. Loose connection at the spade connectors at the flywheel sensor. Tighten by pulling them off, crushing them a bit with pliers and clean/spray the spades.

Rob, thanks sooo much thats what the problem was, clean them and put it back on and now my RPM gage works perfect. I would have never found the problem if not for this great web site and Rob. I have had a lot of help already in a very short time. Thanks again to everyone.
