Back in the Trent-Severn. Fenelon Falls. So far no grounding, no issues other than maybe it's time for brushes on the genny.

How about oil change, have you done that at least once on this journey?

Just did that last week. It was at 203 hours. Also changed Racor element again. This one had about 100 hours on it. Didn't look bad, just dark.RobS wrote:How about oil change, have you done that at least once on this journey?
Fuel update...last time I took on fuel was July 28. Still have more than 1/2 tank left. So I estimate we used "about" 100 gallons in the past 3 plus weeks.

Re: Attitude Adjustment heads west and north
Update. We are currently in Campbellford, On in the Trent Severn. The town has a dock (wall) with power. We can stay during the day and use their power and wifi, and we only have to pay if we stay overnight. So later this afternoon we will move on (after spending some cash in town or course).
Finally took on some fuel today, 105 gallons, just because I don't want to cross lake Ontario "light".
The fuel fill caps were hard to get off since it has been such a long time since I last took on fuel.
(yes, that was rubbing it in)

Well - HA! I haven't taken on fuel since June!!jleonard wrote: The fuel fill caps were hard to get off since it has been such a long time since I last took on fuel.

(Of course I took on $1,250 in June and the boat's been laid up on the repair dock. But still, I bet my fuel caps are harder to remove than yours!!)

Well Doug, now that she's up and running you (and RicM) better grease the threads on those fuel caps so you don't wear out the threads..

At end of the Murray Canal so we can make an early Lake Ontario crossing tomorrow.
Will be a 7 or 8 hour run. Oh well the price of using little fuel.

In the Oswego Canal. Trip across the big lake was like glass. Couldn't have asked fr a better day to cross. It was a 9+ hour running day, and I think the needle on the fuel gage moved.
