Re: Freshwater pump for Peugeot 4d61
I did some searching on the internet for Foreign car parts suppliers. There are many with automotive pumps that fit this vintage and brand engine. Most have photo's of the pump shown. Im not sure if this pump was "marinized" by Lehman but Im guessing even if it was, a long established automotive machine shop could make one good pump from your bad one and an auto one. Usually its the seals and bushings that go, not the shaft/impeller. This is a fresh water cooled engine so chances are parts from the origional are salvagable or rebuildable.

Hello, If you have not found a pump yet, I may have a solution. There is a machine shop here in Columbia SC that rebuilds water pumps. It is run by some oldtimers that do a lot of repairs that nobody else attempts anymore. They have been in business forever and have a good reputation around here. They are Neil parts 803 799 0857 I dont know if they do any shipping but you can send it to me and I will take it to them Joe
