We live near NH Seacoast on the Maine/NH border. We are sailboaters (please don't hold that against us) and racers switching to power. We just downsized the Catalina 36 to a S2 7.9 (26' racer/cruiser) and are looking for an Albin 32 for cruising. The boat would probably need to be an 89-95 to be in our price range and preferably with the Queen bed option and a 300 hp or larger engine but that could be subject to price. We are tired of the 11 hour days going 7 knots to our cruising grounds Down East.
The Ablin 32 seems a good choice because of the single diesel with a keel and skeg which we are hoping cuts down on the odds of catching a lobster pot in our area and Down East and also cuts the travel time in half. Additionally the 32 fits within the mooring swing room.

Re: New New England member looking for a 32
Welcome aboard, BC. The 32 Command Bridge wasn't made with an island queen until 1994. Have fun searching!

Thank you for the information. We have been trying to figure out when Albin started making the Queen bed option.

Welcome. Nice choice for your search. You are in the area where these were originally built and you should find boat to check out.
