New 84 ALBIN 27FC Owner
Bought an 84 FC SEPT 15 2016. Been working on her every day since then. I love this boat. Has 4cyl lehman with 1400 hrs. I got lucky and found one thats been in storage for 10 years indoors. I haven't found any rot at all. Started on first try. Ill take some photos and post them soon.

Re: New 84 ALBIN 27FC Owner
Welcome, You'll get to love her even more as you get to use her. Sounds like you found a good one. 1400 hours is light use if it's been taken care of properly. Looking forward to your pictures. Ben

Re: New 84 ALBIN 27FC Owner
Had bench seat recovered this week.
Looks great. it was sky blue, now white. I have noticed many people do away with bench seat and replace with single helm type. I also installed new wiper motors. Blew about 15 fuses till I figured out how to wire. I'm a trial and error master. Next thing on the list, fire extinguisher and stereo.

Well, sounds like a great fine. To have it start right away after ten years shows previous good care and that the former owner put it away properly. Congras.

Re: New 84 ALBIN 27FC Owner
Congratulations! Where are you keeping her on the Cape? We live in Falmouth and keep our A 34 Paumanok at Kingman's in Cataumet. She is at the Sandwich Marina for the winter. We had an A 27 for 10 years before buying Paumanok in 2009.
What is her name? we'll look for you!

Re: New 84 ALBIN 27FC Owner
After it started i shut it down right away and changed all fluids and filters even though they looked new.
Fuel level shows 1/4. I'v added about another 20 gallons since then with containers. Im at a dock in warwick RI right now. Ill be storing it there this winter and will motor to Falmouth Ma. in the spring.

Re: New 84 ALBIN 27FC Owner
Welcome aboard; you are really going to enjoy bringing her up to snuff. It looks as if you have a solid start on this, and I'm sure the list will get longer before it starts to get smaller (??). We have owned our 27FC for 2 years now, and the to-do list is just beginning to plateau (at least for now). Mazboot also has the Lehman, which is a thumping good engine, just a little noisy (I'll be posting pics of the new mounts and the upgrade to sound suppression sometime soon-ish).
One of the little-known advantages of the 27 (and, I suspect, the 25) is that you have every opportunity to upgrade your tool kit.
We look forward to seeing pics of progress, and her being back in the water.

Welcome, Great looking example of a 27!
I spent a lot of time bombing around Falmouth, what a great place to have a 27. A very capable boat for your area.
Keep the pictures coming!
