July 4 Fishing Trip
Yes it was out of Neah Bay. Two days we went to Blue Dot, then one day to Canadian Swiftsure and then there was a one day Halibut open in Washington. Darlene caught the biggest Kings 26# both days, I caught the biggest Halibut 66# and Tommy [our son] caught the most fish including a 45# Halibut. If you want to come to Neay Bay I will give you some spots to fish. I leave the boat there & will be fishing for about another month. I have included a picture with the Big Salmon Resort so everyone knows where it is. Good Fishing!!
e spots to fish but maybe you already know.

TD,
Actually, I'm woefully uneducated about fishing up in that area, so any advice you can give about locations and methods is greatly appreciated. If we take the boat up there, I promise my first salmon is all yours.
Also, is there any good crabbing in the area? We're pretty well set up for that as well. I like to drop the pots on the way out and pick them up after a day of fishing.

I don't know of a good place for crab. Commercials go south of Tatoosh. I probably have enough salmon but eating it fresh is always good.
Bottom fishing is also very good up there. We like Ling Cod. I will try to attach some more pics of an earlier trip--these were up to 27#.

More Attractive
I may be prejudiced, but I think the major species of NE fisheries are visually more attractive......
