New to the Group....Hello...Hutchinson Island, FL

Post by mtjacoby »

Hello,

My husband and I are not new to boating but are new owners of a 1985 Albin 27 Family Cruiser. It has a 160 Yanmar engine with 1000 hours on it. It needs some cosmetic TLC and we are happy to do that. WE look forward to the information we can gain from this group.

We previously owned a 48Ft. Selene trawler that we lived on and cruised for four years. After selling that we found that we really missed being out on the water. We look forward to cruising the keys, north to Jacksonville and across to the west coast. We are located in Fort Pierce, FL.

Welcome aboard! You've come to the right place for all things Albin. Always good to hear "Fort Pierce" mentioned. My little brother Mike lives on Ixoria Ave at the corner of Oleander & Ixoria in Ft. Pierce.

Mike at work at his job at the Pursuit Boats factory.

Welcome aboard always great to see another Floridian. Our 32 +2 also was from the Vero area, purchased in 2014. We love her, and get to share her upgrades with all of the other Albin Floridians during our annual rendezvous. Maybe meet you guys at the next scheduled rendezvous early April 2017 at Burnt Store Marina? TomA
