New to the group

Post by pahter »

My name is John Sherman and we are downsizing from our Craver 356 and are closing on a Albin 28TE in a few weeks. I have owned many boat from the age of 13 and have work on my uncle's commercial fishing boats in my teen years in NJ and VA. My wife and I live and work in PA and our home port is in Rock Hall, MD. We enjoy family, our marina friend, restoring our old home and of course all the things you can do with a boat.

Welcome to the group I owned a 2000 of the 356. I hated it in the wind and I'm sure you know what I mean. You will love the maneuverability of the 28..

Welcome.....Hmmm...could be my former 28TE. Is it a year 2000 from Joe on Long Island?

John: Welcome to this fine group. You are moving to one for the finest boats of the size. Really sad we don't have continued production as they are near perfect in every way. Wonderful when you find a nice one. Happy to have you abroad.

I'm joining to better understand a boat I have always admired. I'm a Cal-25 sailboat owner living in Annapolis, MD. But I have a long history with powerboats of all kinds, and think owning an Albin 27 FC is in the cards. I look forward to absorbing the site, and communicating with you in the future.
