Marinas in Massapequa, New York area
Looks like I may be traveling to Massapequa, New York, in August. Any owners in that area that could recommend a marina for 2-3 nights? I would appreciate any input on this area? Sorry to cross post, but the "Cruising" area seems quiet at this time.

I posted this in the cruising section, but here it is just in case
Surfside 3 in Lindenhurst might be your best bet. Talk to Mike the dockmaster.
Here is a link to some info about it.

There aren't too many transient docking facilities in the area after doing some looking around.
The other choice would be something in the Freeport area. There are some marinas there, but I am unfamiliar with that area. Bay Shore has some marinas. Maybe someone else has some suggestions.

Thanks
Gery,
Thanks for the input. It's looking increasingly like I will not be attending this family reunion by boat for a number of reasons, but I will file that away for future reference.
