I'd wrap that alternator in some VCI paper (corrosion resistant paper) or similar so it's not a ball of corrosion when you go to use it.
And use up the impeller. They can go bad with age. I use my spare every other year and buy a new one for a spare.

More mysterious parts for the A27 Lehman. Does anyone actually have the part number for the water pump impeller? What about glow plug part number or USA available replacement?
