Bilge Pump Locations

Post by catalina_mike »

OK I am using the documentation in the document area as a basis for my question and the fact I have three bilge switches on the helm 12 vdc panel. I can only find the forward bilge pump, the diaphragm bilge pump starboard side mid ship. I can not find the aft one and only two of the three switches do anything?

Does anyone have a vessel without the aft pump?

Thanks and repairs are underway for my new baby...

I didn't see my original post show up from earlier tonight so if two show up I apologize...

The third in my 28 and now on the 31 both are mounted just aft of the rudder post. That rear pump is fantastic for removing any standing water that accumulates forward once up on plane by manually flipping the rear bilge switch. If it's not there, I would bet that the previous owner pulled it out. Look for wires and get one installed. A 2000gph is what was there.
