Dinghy storage on 28te

How does everybody take a dinghy along for day beach trips?Swim platform ,wheelhouse roof?use a Roll up and inflate it when you get there?

my 8' inflatable fits nicely in the cockpit (engine box model) on it's side wedged between stern and admiral's helm seat. limits cockpit maneuverability but an easy transport for those longer trips. fwiw
