What a Glorious Day

Post by Mark Deeser »

Stepped onto the dock this morning and what to my wondering eyes did appear? It was a sea cow (Manatee) it was playing between the docked boats, doing slow motion rolls. It would come up an snort out a breath, draw in some air and play some more. If you have never seen a Manatee in person, they are large, possibly one of the gentlest creatures on earth. If you are strictly land based this type of sighting would be somewhat akin to going into your back yard in the early morning and seeing a Unicorn drinking from your Humming bird feeder. Thanks, Mark

Thanks for posting that Mark. Of course I'm now picturing a Unicorn drinking next to a hummingbird! :)
