Re: Survey recommendation
Rob,
I know you sold your 28 but is it back up for sale? I see it on yacht world being brokered by White Water. I have tried contacting them several times by the email link but never get any replies. I'm looking at 28 w/ yanmar power.
Regards, Roy

Re: Survey recommendation
No, it is not. I cannot get them to get the listing down. My number is part of the listing, I wanted to be able to speak direct to potential buyers because I knew more about the boat then any broker or dealer ever could and there is a lot of value in that. I have taken many calls since she sold in June and when the callers realize that I am the owner, not a broker, I usually stay on the phone for 15-20 minutes..

Re: Survey recommendation
I needed a surveyor in Port St. Lucie last year. I started with the great write up here on AOG and then started calling around asking surveyors who would be a good choice for an 86 Albin 27 FC. After I got through the first few that reccomended themselves, but had never surveyed an Albin, I got the same person reccomended by two different surveyors. I called the guy and he said he was retired, but then, almost as an after thought, he asked me what kind of boat it was. I told him. He said he used to be an Albin dealer, and that the 27 FC's had sent his kids to college and got him through the reccession. He agreed. He gave me a great survey. Identified every issue that I have ultimately had to deal with.
Anyway, ask around for reccomendations and find someone familiar with your boat.
