Please Help!!! I'm Unlocked.

Post by BIGDOG9857 »

Can anyone tell me, who made the sliding glass door for the enclosed pilot house on my 2005 35ft. Convertable / Sedan Tri-Cabin? The lockset is missing and needs to be replaced. Thanks to everyone responding.

I second Kevin's response. That's who made the door on my 2006.

I get the feeling there's a backstory here?

Glad to help out and congratulations on a great boat. A great set-up!

Your boat was a sleeper with the broker listing it on Yachtworld as a 34 and not a 35. I missed it in my specific searches of 31 & 35 to eliminate the 32 Command Bridge and 32+2. My loss is your gain though I did land in a beautiful 31 TE. Enjoy!

Thanks, any Albin is a GREAT Albin. Many years ago I used to go to the N.Y.C. Boat Show & just drool over the 28. Then came along the 28 flush deck. Then I got to see the 31,which I thought was awesome. But one year they had the 35,which I fell in love with and dreamed about. Finally a Dream come true. Safe Sailing to all, thanks.

BIGDOG9857: Post some pictures. I am a former 35te Flybridge owner. Love to see yours! Was thinking about your
"unlocked" slider door. My former 35te Slider door often did the same thing. We just took it apart oiled and it would work fine for awhile. Actually it worked fine with the key from the outside but would freeze up from the inside from time to time. Would have to climb out a window and then unlock from the outside.
So replacement is a good idea while you can still fine them.

Kevin, would this be the same company that supplied the latches for the helm swinging doors? My bottom latch is missing on the port side door.

Yes, I believe it would be. If you go to their website and select PARTS, the part you're looking for appeasrs to be the flush bolt in the bottom right hand corner. In order to be sure, their phone customer service is pretty good.

You have no idea how much time you saved me.... This was on my winter list to do and I was guessing it was going to take hours searching the web. Thank you :D
