I am considering a floscan meter on a 28 TE. Does anybody have any advice? Which model? It is would seem pretty easy to rationalize stepping up to the model with the GPS interface, tach, hour meter ect., but maybe the most basic model would provide all the info I really need for a lot less $.
I don't expect the floscan to change the rule of 1/3 (1/3 out, 1/3 back and 1/3 for the weather), but it should certainly better define the thirds.
Anybody have any experience and thoughts on this?
Thanks

i have one like this in my '93 28 te
i'm happy with it ...the simple ones are fine as far as i'm concerned. its amazing how much fuel flow can change with just a small rpm modulation.

Floscan
I too am interested in having one installed on my 28 Newport. My problem is finding someone in my area who installs marine electronics and knows what they're doing. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm in New Jersey (Raritan Bay area)
Thanks
