Albin 28 Newport in the movies
I was trying to find something to watch the other night on Netflix while streaming. I came across this movie titled "Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark". This movie will definitely go down as one of the classics; Moby Dick, Perfect Storm, Mutiny on the Bounty just to name a few. The "exciting" part of the movie is in the beginning where our hero is cruising the ocean on his 28 Albin Newport. After that scene, I went back to streaming and settled on "the Good, the Bad and the Ugly".

I'll have to check this classic out. Or at least the opening.

Is that a new kind of navigation system? It looks like a guy is sitting at a 3 screen computer set up in the stern while no one is at the helm

Technology is a wonderful thing. Wait until you see the shark. My buddy went fishing Sunday out of Freeport, LI and he hooked up a 233 pound thresher. The fish jumped in the boat and with its tail broke his buddy's femur. I now have Thresher steaks in the fridge.
