Fair Retail Price

Post by kochler »

I am looking at a 1998 28' Express Tournament in the mid Atlantic region. It has a 6.5 liter GM diesel with less than 400 hours. It appears to be in good condition.

I have been trying to research pricing for such a boat. NADA shows high 20's to low 30's which seems too low. What would be a fair retail price?

That is a cheap price even for that setup - you will find in general that price of 28TE's at the moment is climbing.

To find a good one around that age, admittedly I've only looked at the yanmar and Cummins options - finding one under $60k you would be doing well
Fisher Price 2
Hull Number AUL28489L900
Yanmar 6LP-STE
Built in Portsmouth RI, USA - Berthed in Portsmouth Hampshire, United Kingdom.
