New member and owner of 1977 Albin 25 Deluxe

Post by carolinaclassic »

Greetings to all, My name is Greg Jackson and I live in Clinton, S.C. I am in the antique and classic boat business where I mainly deal in mahogany boats. I have purchased an 1977 Albin 25 Deluxe that is in pretty sad shape with the intent to restore her for my personal use. The boat will receive paint and repower along with many other upgrades. I look forward to interacting with all of you while this project progresses.

Hi Greg, and welcome to AOG.

I'll be looking forward to seeing your progress as the 25 moves along. Post some pics and take us through your thought process, the guys (and gals) in the A25 section will be taking notes! :)

Hello Greg & Welcome Aboard: There is an active 25-27 Classic Group here for you help. Repower and redo of the interior is a major undertaking, but you seem to have the right background for it. We will all enjoy your progress. No doubt specific questions will get answered by your fine group. As Doug points out some pictures will be nice of your expected work and progress. Nice to have the trailer.

Thank you Doug and Howard! I know I will have many questions as the project goes on and this forum is an excellent place to have them answered by some very experienced and knowledgeable people.

Hi Doug - We are owners of an Albin 25 and although she was in pretty good nic when we got her we've done a lot of work on her. Would love to see some updated pics - our little boats clean up well.
