I noticed pictures of a 2006 model that shows a different arrangement above and forward of the helm where the wiper motors are located. It seems there is a change allowing for other equipment mounting options and maybe cable routing. Is the hardtop higher or just looks it from a different perspective?
I'm shopping for a 28 and bridge height is an issue so if it's not the same I'd like to know by how much.

Re: Bridge clearance, same for all model years?
I'm pretty certain "bridge height", or vertical clearance, is the same for all of the 28's, with the exception of those that have the radar mast rather than the arch. That would only be some of the late model "Newports". (I think that was the name)
