Second introduction...

Post by eseyoung »

I think I got my logging out problem fixed so i'll give my official intro.

Picking up my Albin 27FC next weekend! SHe is an 87' so she is Nissan powered, is on her own trailer and best of all is in my price range! she needs a good scrubbing and some maintenance things but she is solid. I will try to keep a log with pics of the work. I want to do this so it will help other newbie feel comfortable with basic tasks of ownership. I am new to yachting but i have been working on diesel engines for years...i woudln't want to tackle an overhaul but i am confident/comfortable with the basics.

Welcome aboard a truly valuable knowledgeable group. You have purchased a seaworthy and comfortable boat. My husband and I owned a 1985 27 AC for 10 years before moving up to an A 34 trawler 4 years ago. I hope you enjoy getting to know her this winter and begin memorable cruising adventures next summer.
