We have an Entec genset with ss enclosure. It is loud. Recently, while changing capacitor, I started the genset without the enclosure. It seemed to me that once the compartment was closed, it was quieter without the enclosure!
Soon I will check this impression with a decibel meter, but wonder if any other Entec owners share this impression. It is certainly much easier to check oil and service without the hassle of opening and resealing the enclosure.
