Front window gasket (?) repair - 28TE

Post by Nancy »

The gasket (if that's what it's called) at the bottom corners of the front windows is broken. We lived with this last year, and the windows didn't leak, but we don't want them to. What are the options for repairing these gaps? They're less than 1" in any direction. The surveyor suggested white silicone, but I'm not too sure about that.

This company may, or may not, have been the original supplier. Be that as it may, they do offer different gaskets: http://americanmarine.com/parts-gaskets.html

I would contact them and gets some general advise: Is something you could do yourself, the availability of the gasket, is it repairable via other simpler means, etc etc. Keep us posted.
