I don't think this is a common configuration for this boat as I could not find much info on the forums. I am under contract on a 2006 and very excited to become an Albin owner! I have owned a number of quality brands (Wellcraft, Regal, Hatteras and most recently Shamrock yet the Albin seems to be built better than anyone of them. I am also impressed with the design and engineering.
I am hoping someone might be able to share some operational data on performance and fuel? Additionally if you have any specific areas that I should focus on during the sea trial and survey that would be helpful. I look forward to becoming an active member on the forum.

I had a 2005 28 Albin TE with the Volvo D-6. It was a great boat and a great motor. I will dig out the fuel burns and post them later. As with any new purchase I suggest a Volvo engine survey. Best 300 bucks you will spend.

The fuel burns were,
cruising for a long distance on plane was 7.7 gals per hour.
cruising at different speeds was 4.6 gals per hour.
I have all the fuel burns for the time I owned the boat if you need them.

Thanks for the feedback. I am deducing from the data I have seen so far that I will see +\- 2.0 mpg. Seems the fuel curve (vs NMR/hour) is pretty flat between 2500-3300 rpm with Does that sound about right?
