Penetrol
Does anyone have experience or used Penetrol to remove the oxidation from colored hulls or restore the lustre on fiberglass?

Re: Penetrol
No but I did find that penetrol did a great job of restoring the rub rail to a nice finish.

Re: Penetrol
I have attached a photo of using penetrol on my transom and compared it to my port side. Stuff works great, wipe on and your done. Home Depot and Lowes both sell the pint can fo $10.00 The penetrol can states on the back that it can be used on fiberglass. If I can get three to four months, I will be a happy sailor. Some people have told me that it should last all season

Re: Penetrol
That works.
Also, I had wondered with the Yanmar repower from the GM if they would glass in your starboard exhaust port and cut one in on the port side. I see that's not the case. I guess the exhaust crosses over to the starboard side forward of the engine?

Re: Penetrol
The exhaust comes out of the forward part of the Yanmar, goes to starboard, slides down aft and out. looks like an elephant trunk in the engine room except it growls most of the time on the water.
