Water Heater Connection
I have an 88 27 open deck with a Cummins 6bt5.9 (210 hp). I want to install a hot water heater (electic/heat exchanger). Does anyone know where the coolant connections should be on that particular engine or at least point me in a direction. Thank you

Re: Water Heater Connection
Best I could find is this: http://www.Cummins-spare-parts.com/wate ... ion-3.html
You're looking for an outlet (feed) on the hot side of the freshwater cooling system and a return on the cool side. The plug shown in the diagram (2) MAY be the return. Hope this at least helps with your search!
