Shaft Packing
I have a 1994 28T albin.... My packing gland is leaking badly... How does one go about changing the packing gland and what if any hints can be given to do so. I see the packing gland in under the engine... thank you !!!!!

Re: Shaft Packing
I had a 94 TE and had a mechanic change the packing and adjust it for me. It took him an hour and a half or so and cost a couple hundred dollars. He made it look easy, so hopefully you can find a good mechanic that is familiar with Albins and what needs to be done. I think I posted a message here when I had it done.
