work weekend

Post by AlMar »

Well the weather cooperated somewhat and we had time to polish our fuel (not a fun job), and replace the injectors in our 3116 Cat. Still having trouble with our genset, but we REALLY plan to be ready for the spring this time. 45 degres isn't bad if you stay below the gunnels :~) We did get to see Silver Lining go by on his way to a fishing trip :-(

...i went snowboarding at camelback in the poconos with my 58 year old little brother. 12 degrees.... hey, ya have to get old, ya don't have to grow up.
heard several little kids say,
"did you see how old those two guys were?"

TC,
I know what you mean. The other day I walked into a store. A guy in his twenties held the door and said "after you sir". Sheesh. Do I look that old?

About 5 years ago some waitress at a Dennys just east of Annapolis called me 'POPS'. Hmmmm! That didn't go over well. I see that particular Dennys is no longer in operation. HA!

'POPS' got busy today. I usually pressure wash as soon as the boat is hauled but circumstances beyond my control had the boat out of water & unwashed for over 2 weeks after hauling.

Today was the day. Tough work. No fun getting dried on growth off, even with a 3000PSI machine. Over 2 hours of crawling around underneath the Albin this morning. Hauled my 14' Maritime Skiff this afternoon. Haul, transport & pressure washing that only took 1 1/2 hrs.

Gonna sleep well tonight.
