Boatless in Bay Shore

After 22 years, our 32 Sportfish is off to her new home in Portland, ME. The desire to retire, combined with the high costs of dockage, winter storage, insurance etc etc not to mention fuel, has made this decision necessary. But we had some exciting adventures. Down the ICW to FL where we lived 9 years. 4 trips to the Bahamas, and a couple to the Keys; and then back up the ICW in 2007. Definitely no regrets, but still a little sad. But my 4 year old grandson said "it's OK Pop Pop, nowm we can buy a lobster boat and catch lots of lobsters and crabs."
It won't be a lobster boat, but it will definitely be a trailerable pocket cruiser. Just another adventure.
