Alaskan Bulkhead Source?

Post by Chris & Dale »

We're shopping for a 28TE and have run across 2 that have an Alaskan Bulkhead (is that the correct name?) sliding door. We really like the idea for a number of reasons. When I called Albin the woman I talked to said they didn't sell them, so I'm thinking there's an after-market source. Searching here I've read the threads but none answer the question: where can we find one to purchase and install? The boat we've seen for sale that has one is very pricey. I'm rather handy so I feel comfortable at installing one myself. Aside from a source, has anyone purchased and installed one and willing to share that experience? Thanks
