Louvered vent

Post by Joe/Fran »

Our vent on our 1997 te is cracked and falling off. It is made of plastic but we would like to replace it with either ss or aluminum. We have searched everywhere but can't find one the same size.
From outside to outside the measurements are 14 1/8 to 5 5/8. Has anyone replaced one and where did you purchase it? Thanks Joe/Fran

Just replaced all 5 vents (1 exterior, 4 under cockpit coaming) this winter. Defender.com had one that was close in SS. Length is the same as the existing cutout. Had to open up the width be about 3/16" and then it fit fine. Flange is smaller and barely covered old screw holes, but once installed and bedded it looks great.

The louvered vents on my 1999 28TE are ATWOOD brand.

I ordered from here, they were the exact match.
