macerator pump
I have a MPT-600 or MPT-720 series (not sure which) macerator pump; I believe the hose that runs from the impeller at the bottom, to the discharge nipple on the top has failed. It's only 21 years old. It seems to be spraying the effluent around inside the tank, instead of discharging overboard. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Re: macerator pump
Your discharge hose may be plugged. Make sure you're not under pressure if you remove the discharge hose from the through-hull (this is from experience) and check it out.
