Meeting members at Chesapeake rendezvous
I am a new member interested in learning more about the 28, especially ideas for changing pilothouse and cockpit seating to better address wife's comfort. Looking forward to meeting Chesapeake owners at rendezvous. If anyone has photos of seat/lounge changes they've made, would appreciate seeing.

Re: Meeting members at Chesapeake rendezvous
Welcome to AOG. Hope to meet you at the rendezvous.
The only change I made to my seating was to add a few pieces of starboard to raise them up. I'll try to remember to take a picture when I'm at the boat.
Search around the board. You will get some good ideas.

Re: Meeting members at Chesapeake rendezvous
We picked up a small footrest and put it in front of the mate seat. My wife found that made her much more comfortable.
In the cockpit we bought the high end, well padded deck chairs from West Marine. Don't know which version you have but with our engine box model it was great to sit back and put your feet up on the engine.
