Wow...what a shocker. If you read my past post regarding changing out the exhaust elbow/mixer elbow you'll feel my frustration. After struggling with linning up the parts ( 3 people 3 hours ), I finally got it all together...then had a persistant leak. Worked on that for another half a day....nothing....so I made a work order out to have the local Yanmar mechanic look at it....whew......7 hours labor including sea test....$526.93
So by the time I got the parts and had them seal the leak the whole thing cost $1733.00 and some change.......jeeze.... but what is more frustrating is that Yanmar uses really cheap "pot" cast metal for these parts.
