salon flooring
has anyone replaced the wood flooring in the salon, or other areas on the boat? i just bought a 36' sabreline trawler, but it has carpeting in all 3 rooms. my plan is to remove the carpet and replace it with bamboo flooring. just wondering if anyone else has installed wood flooring, what to look out for, headaches, etc.

Re: salon flooring
In a previous boat we installed some bamboo tongue and groove flooring in the kitchen. I installed it myself and the admiral loved it.

Re: salon flooring
Hi, you will find that the flooring is just ply with veneer so you can replace or cover the flooring with a clear concience. Regards Sebastian
